Welcome to my scientific journey

Hello, and thank you for visiting! I’m Sascha, a PhD student in theoretical physics at the JGU in Mainz. My research focuses on early universe cosmology, including topics like the baryon asymmetry of the universe and dark matter.

This website is a space to share my work, ideas, and contributions to the field of theoretical physics. Here, you’ll find an overview of my research projects and publications.

Currently I am a PhD student at the JGU Mainz in the Group of Julia Harz. I am an associate member of the Mainz Physics Academy (MPA) and part of the PRISMA+ Cluster of Excellence.

Outside of my academic work, I enjoy playing football, bouldering, and exploring a variety of other sports. A personal highlight of mine was becoming the state champion in Ju-Jutsu in the U15 category for Rheinland-Palatinate in 2011.

Feel free to explore, connect, and discuss with me!

Updates

I’ll be attending PASCOS 2025 on July 21–25, 2025 in Durham, UK - feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect!
